Harbor Freight is located along Grand Avenue which is a main east/west traffic route through the area with various commercial uses on either side and connects with Interstate 94. Harbor Freight is a privately held discount tool and equipment retailer company that was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Calabasas, California. The company has opened approximately 100 stores per year since the year 2012 and currently employs over 20,000 people and has over 1,000 stores in 48 states.
