Mr. Phillips currently serves as the Partner and Chief Executive Officer of PREP. He has served as a principal of Phillips Edison & Company since 1991. At Phillips Edison, Mr. Phillips assisted in forming, managing and deploying 11 private equity real estate funds consisting of high net worth and institutional investors, amounting to nearly $900 million in private equity. Prior to forming Phillips Edison, he was employed by Biggs Hyper Shoppes, Inc., as Vice President from 1989 until 1990; May Centers as Senior Development Director from 1988 until 1989; and The Taubman Company as Development Director from 1986 until 1988 and as a leasing agent from 1984 until 1986. Mr. Phillips received his bachelor’s degree in political science in 1977 from the University of Southern California.
